ABOUT US
The Asociación Europea de Pádel para Sordos (EDP) is a non-profit association incorporated under Spanish Organic Law 1/2002 on the Right of Association and registered in the Spanish National Register of Associations under no. 628253. We organise the European Deaf Padel Circuit, Women & Padel and EDP Academy for deaf people across Europe.
The work behind EDP
Every event requires months of sports coordination, accessible communication, administrative management and international relations. EDP carries out this work with a small team, without paid staff and without stable public funding. Board positions are unpaid and its members give their time on a voluntary basis, with the support of collaborators.
Voluntary work has made it possible for EDP to come this far, but it cannot be the only foundation for EDP’s future.
Growing what already works
With more resources and professional support, we will be able to improve our organisation, expand our activities, offer more sporting opportunities and support players directly.
